Mentoring has always been an important part of learning at Jefferson Elementary.  The Jefferson STARS program is an organized volunteer reading and basic math-mentoring program designed to assist students with these skills. Volunteers are matched with a particular student, and develop a special one-on-one relationship.  Mentoring sessions are approximately 45 minutes per week.  Volunteer to make a difference in the life of a child!
